Wow, what a great time we had! We got to make some super Christmas ornaments with a wise man and a couple of camels. We stained, painted, put finish on them, etc. These will be prized possessions of our families for years!! (we hope).
We also had some really neat games and activities that wore everyone out. --and then finished with Pizza!
We held our first homecoming/old fashioned day in our new building on Sunday Oct 16, 2011. It was a beautiful day, and the morning service was outstanding. We were blessed to have one of our missionaries here to bring the morning message, and another member of his church in Haiti sang a very special song in Creole. It brought tears to many eyes! We then had "dinner on the grounds" outside enjoying the gorgeous day. As always, there was more than enough food to go around. Our pastor making introductions.
Choir singing, remember this is old fashioned Sunday!
Our very special speaker for the day, one of the national missionaries that we help to support.
Dinner under the tent.
Look at that gorgeous sky!!
Lots of food! And there were more tables than this!
Tonight we had the pleasure of having our first baptismal service in the new building! We had 3 individuals with a desire to be an obedient believer, having given a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. To God be the Glory!!
