Praise the Lord!

The counter tops have been installed, and the carpet is being ordered today!! We had over $11,200 come in Sunday for the building fund!! How awesome it is to see our prayers being answered! We praise the Lord for His continued blessings and for those who continue to pray and give financially.
Please continue to pray that we will get our occupancy permit. We hope to also post updated pictures soon!
May you all have a wonderful Christmas as we remember our Lord and Saviour's birth, and the reason He came to this earth.

Thank you!

God is using people from all over to bring about our new church building. Thank you to those who continue to pray for the ministry here, and to those who have contributed financially. We give God all the glory and are so thankful for people such as the folks in Alabama who have sent a financial donation. We appreciate you all and praise God for His continued goodness.

Cabinets

The cabinets are going up in the kitchen. They look GOOD!

Most of the rooms have ceiling tile now.

Thankfulness

We have so much to be thankful for, especially over the past several months. From May until now, we have seen God do marvelous things and He has blessed us so much.

Updates: The silt fence has been removed! The trees will be planted in the parking lot soon. The paving should be done next week. The tiling is being finished tomorrow and the cabinets are going to be installed next week. The plumber will be installing the bathroom fixtures in the next few weeks. We need the last $14,000 to completely finish the building and would LOVE to be in by Christmas. Please continue to pray with us toward this end. Happy Thanksgiving!

Long, overdue update

Sorry for the delay in updates :) Here is the scoop!

Painting has been completed in all rooms. Trim is going up in the auditorium. Tile has been laid in the bathrooms and is being finished. All light fixtures are put up. Drop ceiling grids have been put in place but the ceiling grid tiles still need to be purchased. Someone has graciously donated the money needed to buy the cabinets and they have been ordered! We thank God for this blessing! The carpet has been chosen but has yet to be purchased.
We are waiting on the Lord to supply the $22,000 we need to complete the building. We would love to be in by the end of this year!!

Lights, air, gutters, oh my!

Although blogging has been a bit slow lately, progress is still moving along well! We now have the air conditioning units working, lights throughout the building and the gutters installed. We have permanent power and a group of volunteers have hung the doors inside. Painting is continuing over the weekend. It's looking great!! Praise God.

Moncks, SC volunteers

We had a group of volunteers from Moncks Corner, SC come to complete the fascia and soffit work around the building. We appreciate their willingness and love for the Lord! Thank you!

Brick work

The brick work is almost finished and the cross is such a nice touch to the outside decor! We have passed the HVAC rough in inspection and the sheetrock continues to go up inside. We hope to post some inside pictures soon!

Bricks

The brick work is progressing really nicely! We have doors now and the inside is coming along with sheetrock and duct work. Exciting times :)

Brick and sheetrock

The sheetrock is going up and the framing is turning into individual rooms! It's exciting to start to visualize the Sunday School classrooms, the kitchen and washrooms....and our auditorium! The block is being put around the outside and we are looking forward to the bricks arriving soon. Our God is good!

Sheetrock!!

Over the last 2 weeks a lot of work has been done in preparation for the sheetrock installation. HVAC work is still in progress and the sheetrock starting going up today. Block and brick will start this coming week. We hope to have some updated pictures within the next few days.

Insulation

The plumbing inspection should be done today and the framing inspection tomorrow. The insulation is going up and we hope to have another group of volunteers this weekend to put up the sheet rock and interior wall sound batt insulation.
Several of our members headed to Alabama for the weekend to enjoy food and fellowship at the Carpenter's Banquet. We look forward to hearing how it went!

Inspection

We have passed the electrical inspection and the insulation will be put up this week. Still waiting on some other inspections to be complete. We are hoping to be in our new building by October. Please continue to pray for the Lord's work here!

Wiring and cement

The cement has been poured in front of the entrance and the men are working on the electrical wiring.
